Is that screw type speaker connections I see, Myles?

Good eye. The bigger terminal strips are for connecting the power supply to the active circuitry.

Hey ,

noticed you have the obligatory audio plants and good hi-fi plants they are. when the hi-fi is good they standup tall and green , a bit too bright and they get a bit yellow in the leaves brown means loose bass ...:)

You still have some green on yours so thats a good sign ....!!! :)

Yes it's time to repot the plants. The one on the left actually bloomed last year. Wonderful smell much stronger than hyacinths!

Bill(Beauty of Sound) and I were down at Myles' place on Sunday and were both quite impressed with the Cello amps. They have a drive and absolute grip that was not evident on the CJ amps. I like the fact that Matthew James went back to the classic Cello look and build. The Ikeda 9TT was a real ear opener and a surprise for me. I am a huge fan of the Atlas and did not think the 9TT could better a far more expensive Lyra product. It more than held its own and seemed to have the advantage of better dynamics and sound stage size. This was with about a 10 minute 'quick set-up' by Bill and Myles. I would have liked to try the Summits with a single(125 watt/channel) unbridged Cello amp as well.

But there's something to be said for the bridged power--esp. on the Decca organ tape you brought over!
