I can tell that after Yamamura,he go back to Japan because had health problems and stop the company in Italy ART,in same period one friend near Torino was distributor for all Europe of AudioTekne in 1994,so i knew Yamamura bought some superpermalloy and cartridge from Imai,so i went on with Audio Tekne sound and became very friend with Mr Imai that wend 5/6 time in my home.
I started to buy small preamp with stereo amp and then always develop, until pre 8601,mono 8502 and horn speaker 3 way

speaker similar this
until this system

and i listen with AT since 1994 to 2010
AT is very natural and transparent,a lot of people think is dark sound or not very good but when you have at home and compare with all other tube and adjust some you really understand
his quality
I tried many times the mono amp 8502 or 9502 with ANJ Kegon,Ongaku,Gakuon,or some Kondo,or Shindo WE 300B and Shinonia,or FAl,or MActone OTL mono M 88 V,or Sakuma, really you can find AT sound much better, more natural.

Only Dissanayake schock me for incredible lunch and dynamic and sound very good also.

Here i am in the middle with mr imai and his wife in 2009

What impresses me is that whatever system you had you went all our tri amping it... Whether soundlabs or audio tekne. And now going all out with CH. Going through each model of such brands, learning their DNA

Every system i had since 1978 i did the best.
In 1982 i had IMF RSPM MK IV,and you cannot believe, but i use only the woofer chef B139,with 2 sub Miller & Kreisek, and i put on 6 electrostatic cell form RTR and super tweeter ribbon Accent

Later Wilson copy my system doing WAMM with sub,2 B 139 kef for mid bass,15 electrostatic cell and super tweeter at beginning and then other 2 small speaker
I AM JOCKING!!!!!

I triamped with Jadis 80,200 and 500,i biamped with 8 ML 20 bridged,in 1984 i biamped with ARC 250 on bass and Jadis 80 on mid high,in 1979 i biamped with A&E dac 150 M for bass and stereo DCA 120 for mid high, when you start with this way is impossible listen mono amp ,only if you a speaker that cannot be biamped

That's the best Audio Tekne gallery that I have seen so far. Transformers can really give the music a warm, beating heart, and it seems that the Audio Tekne takes the transformer cult to the absolute extreme. I have always been curious to hear Audio Tekne, prices are stratospheric, but it seems the high end world has caught up with the costs.

Going back and forth with my Stax headphones between a single ended WAVAC and VFET or First Watt M2 solid state, it is strange, but I hear things in the music with the tubes that I just don't hear with solid state, and I hear with solid state things I don't hear with the tubes. I guess that's why I mix them up in my main system, DHT tube drivers with solid state, you get something from both worlds.
