The plinth my SP-10 MKII is mounted in is 22" W x 17 3/4" D. It weighs approximately 60 lbs and that doesn't include the outboard power supply. The table sits on top of a VPI TNT rack which has the legs filled with lead shot and weighs approximately 100 lbs.

Thanks Win, rugyboogie, Myles, Davey, tomelex, XV-1, VT Skier, and Mark for taking the time to get this information!

Same as Christian (rockitman)

That's ok John. I didn't ask for someones idea of the biggest table ever made. I just want to get more weight and footprint information.

25lbs is fine. What's the footprint?

Thanks,
Dre

18.5" x 13.75"

Hmmm intriguing request from setup guru Dre--maybe he is secretly working on a Silencer/Minus K clone--time will tell:cool:

Dre, Why are you compiling this information? Inquiring minds want to know?

Sorry I missed your post Peter.

I'm just making sure I've got a better idea of some of the weight and footprints of the turntables most users have that don't have integrated stands in case I need the information in the future.

Dre

I'm not sure what the VPI Classic Direct comes in at with the SRA base. Not on the site so I'll have to investigate.

Myles,

Did you manage to get your Classic Direct numbers from VPI? If so, please add them to the list.

Thanks,
Dre

Thanks to everyone who participated in supplying information requested in the original post about their turntables. The responses have been very helpful for a small project of mine.

Thanks again,
Dre

Of course, more information is always welcome...

How much does your turntable weigh?

What would the footprint be in length and width for a platform/stand?

You are also welcome to identify the name of your table if you would like to.

Thanks,
Dre

Dre,

Could you keep us informed about your project? Maybe post something when it's complete if you think it would be of interest.
