Pacific dac: Lampizator's new top of the line dac

I had the Horizon some time ago, but compared to the first Pacific version, the sound was fuller and the tone was less technical. In my Pacific system it always sounded slightly sharp and detailed. After changing to v2, the sound gained mass while still playing selectively. As if the difference...

Pacific dac: Lampizator's new top of the line dac

I was also tempted to upgrade the Pacific to the v2 version and I must admit that the change is impressive in combination with my Sveda Audio active speakers. The sound gained color and space, the stage deepened. The bass became more expressive and the vocals came forward. I feel like there's...

Lampizator Pacific - upgrade to version 2

KR 242 are really great - wonderful dynamic, however it was too much for me. I was listening to PX25 and PX4 and finally I have chosen last one. KR Audio is really expensive now - something like 550 Euro/pcs - does anyone know nice NOS alternatives for it ?

Lampizator Pacific - upgrade to version 2

I have 4pcs KR Audio PX4 and few 5U4G rectifiers - KR Audio (worst), RCA NOS, Telefunken AZ1 and Telefunken RGN2004 NOS.

Lampizator Pacific - upgrade to version 2

Agree. I also have turntable and it sounds much better than any Tidal/Qobuz etc. However due to my system based on active speakers, Pacific is like a heart driving whole music in my house. Even phono stage is connected to Lampi.

Lampizator Pacific - upgrade to version 2

What is your setup and digital source? How did you connect Pacific 2 now and how it was connected before? Did you use LAN previously ?

Pacific dac: Lampizator's new top of the line dac

Remember that everything depends on your setup. I have active speakers Sveda Audio connected with my Pacific and RCA sounds best.

Lampizator Pacific - upgrade to version 2

Hi, Has anyone tried to upgrade Pacific to version 2 ? Lukasz has implemented new Eleven P board, new USB module and a lot of minor changes. LAN connection is no more installed. The effect of the changes is reportedly very good. Any confirmed feelings ? Regards Bart

    RADA Precious One Phono

There is nothing to be addressed to be honest. This is great phono stage, but better not for active speakers ;)

    RADA Precious One Phono

In fact, the music in this room sounded very good. Thanks to the Rada representatives, I had the opportunity to pick up a version of Precious and Precious one for one day. Both devices are made very well. The simplified version is definitely different from the One version. The sound is thinner...

I will have both at the beginning of September. However only for few hours so not sure if I will be able to compare it properly.

RADA Precious Phono ( copper )

Sounds great. It will be nice if you have a chance to listen to latest Precious version (without “One”) and compare it to your current one.

RADA Precious Phono ( copper )

Has someone got a chance to compare Precious One copper version with new Precious? I’m interested how change of the old components into new modern has impacted the sound ? And another question - comparison between new Precious and Valkyrie C from Rada. I was quite impressed with the last one...

Guys, sorry, but I thought this thread would be more about the Rada Precious One and how this phono stage feels. Meanwhile, I see that it is completely different.....

DaVa FC-A1 a field coil contender

I got tube psu and selenium one from Darius. Tube one is much better and you can easily adjust the voltage. Great stuff! I strongly recommend SUT from Darius for MM section in phono stage. Works perfectly

Hi, Has anybody tested original VTA regulation against Easy VTA for Groovemaster ? I will be very grateful for any feedback. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304067860260?hash=item46cbdb5724:g:pkIAAOSwJmBg8J7h

DaVa FC-A1 a field coil contender

Hi What’s the best location of the thin silver cable? Currently I wrapped it around the tonearm but I can see that this can be installed along the tonearm on top or on bottom. Is there any justification for only one proper route ? I would like to add that I have implemented additional...
