What I mean about pulling them out farther is that the room is 27' long and the front of the tweeter horn is (only) slightly over 6' from the front wall.

Some vinyl mastered from digital is unavoidable. Thousands and thousands of 50s, 60s and 70's original LPs of all musical types means most of my vinyl is unashamedly analogue.
Whether long term loans are influencing reviewers or not becomes less relevant if you don't slavishly trust any reviewer, but view the reviews as entertainment or as nothing more than a broad indicator of possible merit.
