That's setup and room matter Caesar and doesn't change with speaker type, if you need to treat the room or move the listening position for one type of full range speaker you probably have for another full range type.Hi DDK,
Thanks. By early reflections I mean anything that can bounce off a side-wall, floor, or ceiling and can arrive at the listening position, and smear the listening experience.
People say that horns are "directional". I interpret to mean that they interact with the room less than conventional speakers.
You would treat the room based on the characteristics of the speakers. I don't have experience with the way a horn loads and reflects in a room but have tons of experience with dynamic drivers and planar types. There are basic things that should be done in almost every room but they do vary by particular technologies that may work differently.Is the difference in approach only due to the early reflections?
