Many people land on threads by clicking on "New Posts" and as such, don't know where a thread is located. As with the measurement forum, I think it would be a good idea to change the background color so that it is clear you are not in the rest of the forum.

So what color do you want it to be? Remember that the color will be behind black text so it will have to be light.

Would be helpful if you pick the color in this link and post the numeric value for it which starts after the "#" character: http://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp

The problem with that is someone needs to know what the color means, and it needs to be a color we all see the same. To be honest, I rarely notice the color of the measurement forum. Perhaps something like I do for my editor at work. I set the background to black, and the text to bold white. Maybe do bold yellow for subjective, and bold white for objective.

Plus, I find a black background easier on MY eyes. I bet others will disagree.

Definitely NOT a black background. A pastel color is best. Almost any will be fine.

pink?

Changing the colour of the separator bar between posts, or the backround behind the subscriber details etc on the left, would allow a greater range of colours. Ideally, the post separator line could have the forum title text in it, useful for those using screen readers.

You mean the solid brown horizontal lines? If so that is a clever solution, sans the work for me figuring out where it is configured among thousands of style sheet properties :).

Yeh I have been too lazy to fix the mobile profiles. I hate this system software so try to do the minimum to get away with :). With this change I will go and see if I can fix it there too. Thanks Lee.

On the color topic, the measurement forum and threads look exactly like all the others when viewed on mobile devices.

I'm on a laptop, and the measurement forum looks no different than the other forums for me either. Could it be a browser thing perhaps?

It is light tan background. Go back and forth and should be able to see the difference. Making it darker made the text hard to read.

Huh, you're right. It's kind of a grey-ish tone. Hardly noticable though.

Hrrrmm... Maybe for this we need to dive into the Psychology of colors and what personality type goes along with that for an answer :)

Turquoise, and Purple. ...After Gold, Silver and White.

? Go with midnight satin velvet ocean navy Blue. It's good for the soul, and bad for the demons.
It fits with the stars of the sky in the spirituality and relaxation/meditative Mediterranean moonlight of the darkness.
Can't go wrong with that color, and besides it suits my shoes and shirts.

It would be good if the colours could be extended to the "New Posts" pages... I know you can look at the right side of each entry for the name of the forum, but I get the impression that too few people do that. Or maybe it doesn't sisplay that for mobile?

Do you mean each forum has a unique color, and each new post entry for that forum would be in that color? That could make for a colorful page. :)
