Boy this getting frustrating. I am on Amazon searching for an album and as usual it tries to sell me the MP3. I look and find that it is available in a different format which I thought was CD as it always is. I do a one click order and this huge box shows up. Yup, it is an LP! I go and look and the music only comes in MP3 and LP!!! No CD. This is the album: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0083TS8EA/ref=pe_385040_30332200_pe_309540_26725410_item

So now the question is whether I reconnect my ancient Techniques linear tracking turntable just to listen to this LP or frame it and put it on the wall???

Well, you could pick up a turntable line and rename your company to Madrona Analog and Digital Audio.

Seriously though, you've got A LOT of WBF members in your local area like Bruce, Gary and Mike who have what's needed for super needle drops.

I just commented in another thread how CDs are getting harder to get than LPs and how I have to resort to Amazon. I think this is a trend that will continue.

Yeah - I digitize almost all the albums I listen to. My Korg is now constantly hooked up to the system. So, anytime you want. It's an EP, so shouldn't take long.

I found out after I got it. Amazon will accept return but since I got free shipping they will want me to pony up the shipping charge now. Given the cost of the LP, I didn't think it was worth sending back and I really like to have a high quality copy anyway.
