First of all, has anyone heard of an Aries Scout? I haven't. This guy is selling an "Aries Scout" TT. The funny part is that he claims he has never played any rap or hip hop on this table like that would ruin it.
Looks like a basic Scout to me. I had an Aries 2 and I've seen a couple of Aries 3s. What did the Aries 1 look like? I've never even seen a picture of one.
Jack-All the Aries tables I have seen had much bigger plinths than the Scout. If you live in Maine and you are selling a pickup truck, it's always important to state in the ad "never been plowed" because everyone and their brother has a plow on the front of their pickup truck in Maine in order to make money. It just struck me funny that this guy thought it was a selling point for his turntable that he has never played rap or hip hop on it. He really needs to get his story straight on what turntable he is selling. It's just a Scout from what I can see.

The Aries 3 is indeed a mini HRX. The Aries 2 was an overfed Scout without the upgrade flexibility of the Super Scout Master. It's why I jumped straight to the HRX when a second hand one suddenly became available. My question is, does anybody remember the Aries 1? The table in the ad is definitely a Scout. The plate even says it is.
