Gyphon - New Flagship Speaker - The Pendragon

A friend of mine has heard the big Gryphon speaker and he was very impressed

Interesting...was this the new Pendragon or the older Poseiden? In either case, any specific comments or comparison? Thanks!

I heard the Triton (or is it Trident?) a long time ago but it was in a room way too small and was straight out of the (beautiful) flight cases. I wish I'd had a chance to see what they could really do.

Must have been Poseidon, The Pendragon is not out yet.

Someone told me 40 Pendragons have already been pre-ordered...i have no idea if that is true. That is a ton of speakers at that price point!

Serious kit there, any approx cost for these?

Has anyone heard this yet? Or heard feedback from others?

Hi, I have not heard of any reports [on Gryphon Pendragon] yet.

I have spoken with a few people about this...will get word from Asia hopefully shortly. Meantime trying to hear it towards end of summer.

Very cool! The membrane speaker seems lighter than i expected...thank goodness. Still big by any reckoning...and the woofer towers are no doubt very heavy. Niels is a great professional...very nice...spoken with him many times but never knew what he looked like. Thanks!

+1 .. was quite amazed, as to how easily he swiveled it around , thought it would be much heavier .

Yes, I have, driven by some huge heat radiating gryphon amp (I forget the model name)
Underwhelming in the extreme..
I was expecting this huge scale sound to emit from the 4 towers..what I heard sounded like 2 small stand mount speakers...
I know the room , heard many systems in it, was defintely not that.
