This cool soulman out of Chicago gave us some groovy sounds in the sixties-seventies,although he started slowly with[Delila-1962]his next release put him on the music map[Monkey Time]and he was seldom off of it afterwards as the hits kept coming-[Um-Um-Um-Um-Um-Um..Rhythm..The Matador..Come See..Sweet Music..Girls..it Ain't No Use..Hey Little Girl..Without A Doubt..Forever]and he kept on hitting in the seventies [Stay Away From Me..Girl Come On Home..Since I Lost My Baby's Love..I Never Thought The Day Would Come]sadly things slowed down for the Major in the eighties but his legacy is assured,anyone have a favorite from -The Major?
