What's Spinning Tonight?

Decent repress?

Keep meaning to go after this and Anri 'Heaven Beach' originals.

This album was numerous years in compiling and even longer on the stage. Packaged for the times.

I do not really have a point of reference, sadly. The only original TY LP I have is Spacy. I haven’t run this through the US cleaner yet and was using the SoundSmith ruby/shibata retipped Stanton 681eee (a much “better” 681eee but, not my favorite cart by a long shot).

First impression keeping the above in mind: a quiet and hot pressing, plenty of volume

I can let you know more after a cleaning and playing it on and with my preferred gear, listening with planar cans.

Album’s been out of stock for sometime now. Glad it’s finally released again. Great Acoustic Sound series, one of my favourite GM album containing originals and collaborations - beautiful jazz on a quiet evening. Flat 180 grams on excellent quiet pressing... surprisingly no audible distortion at the end of both sides... arrived in great protective packaging. Do you like to hear the "real"... fluegelhorn recorded with a Neumann U-48?View attachment 162409View attachment 162410View attachment 162411
FRESH ( 2025 Pressing ! ) top shelf album with 2 of the 3 best contemporary trombonists. A wonderful mix of old classics ;The duets with lead trombones is just plain beautiful. Really an album that every jazz lover should have and it will gets lots of plays.
