Tidal app on iphone

A little confused but maybe I can get some clarity here. I was under the impression by Tidal and a few websites that I was possible to enjoy mqa tracks through my Iphone app using an apple camera adapter. Its basically a lightning to usb. I cannot seem to get the final unfold this way. My dac displays when it is in mqa and all I get is p.c.m. No problems with MQA with the pc app but thats because of the pass through in the settings. There are some people, though, that think they are receiving mqa through the iphone. My question is, is it possible do get the final unfold or are people just mis informed?

Never have seen or heard this. I only ever use my phone for audio in my truck and it is Spotify. Hope this helps
