Just curious if you meant this thread to be in this forum Bob.

Perhaps in the audio forum

Well Steve .... It's up to you to transfer it if you want. Me I don't mind at all. :b

General Audio Discussions? ...Yeah, sounds more appropriate Steve; I agree.

I know on other forums if you start an Emovita thread a fight will break out.

If you look at the XPA series, the XPA-5 is 200 watts by 5 so 200 watts by 9 is a lot of channels delivering a good amount of power.

But not here though. :b

True, that's 200Wpc times nine (9)! Or 1,800 Watts total into 8 Ohms! And into 4 Ohms, even more! You would probably need two AC outlets to plug it in! Or a 30A electrical circuit.

* By the way, I did the same stunt at another audio site, and I let it run for the full day.
No one took the time to verify.
Even Kal (Rubinson) commented that he wouldn't be able to lift it!
In which I replied that the weight was 121 pounds!

Too bad more people were not taken into the ride. :b ...Was a very short thread, like here.

Cheers,
Bob

P.S. I took the idea from a friend member over at the Emotiva Lounge.

There is so little about high-end audio that can inspire disbelief any more.
