being in so-cal for most of the existence of the "high end" years of audio, rogersound was a presence i was aware of both as a store chain and speaker maker.

now howard rogers is doing it again only better. the product of interest is "the audiophile system" :

what a surprise. this system is excellent and the powered sub is outstanding. firmly in the bargain category and one could buy them sound unheard and never be sorry.

imaging/soundstaging abounds as monitor sized satellites are infamous for and the bass extends VERY low and tight resulting in a well integrated system. the sub has remote control for freq and level; this makes final adjustment a snap.

a friend of mine is using manley mahi monoblocks in triode at about 15wpc and they play plenty loud enough and the musicians are in the room.

worth checking out.

Remember ROGERSOUND

I had the pleasure of meeting Tom for the first time on April 17 at a meeting of the L.A. & Orange County Audio Society where we were demonstrating our new RSL Speaker line. His comments were made after extensively listening to them.

Although we appreciate them, Tom made these comments without any suggestion from us. If it had been us, we would have used many more glowing adjectives. However, we don't believe in 'advertising plants.'

Best regards,
Howard

Define compression guide, please.

Hi Jason,

Compression Guide is our method of speaker tuning that divides the enclosure into areas of low and hi pressure and mitigates the effect of internal enclosure resonance.

For additional info, please see our website www.rslspeakers.com. You can also phone or email us. That info is also on our site.

Regards,
Howard
