I'm trying to organize my digital RCA collection by catalog number (e.g LSC 2120 etc).

The first RCA LS box set combines two releases per CD and doesn't list the individual catalog numbers. I'm thinking of splitting the dual releases into 2 albums (yeah, I'm crazy) so they match the analog LP versions...

I can tell what one of the original releases is by the cover, but figuring out the second isn't so straightforward.

I know about the Shaded Dog website. From there I can get album covers and see track listings, but it's going to be slow going. Anybody know a better resource that might list the combined catalog numbers for the Sony releases?

Not sure about your question:confused: However, the lower the number on the series, the earlier the recording. So for instance, LSC 1900 is an earlier release than say LSC 2600.

I'll try to be more clear by presenting an example:

On CD, Rhapsody In Blue (Arthur Fiedler) contains more than just the contents of LSC-2367

It also contains Concerto in F & Cuban Overture from LSC-2586

So in order for me to split up the contents of the Sony CD, I need to know the two catalog numbers. Make more sense?

Doesn't hand the answers to me on a silver platter, but I appreciate having it as a resource.

Thanks, Lee.
