Not every time you listen to music is a serious endeavor. Believe it or not sometimes music is a secondary or tertiary activity.
Lately I have found some music on Tidal that would not qualify as "Gems" buy deserve honorable mention.
So if you have a favorite piece you listen to while reading a book, drinking coffee or maybe paying the bills. You might want to share it with us.

If you enjoy electronic and similar music, I'd say the Hotel Costes series by Stephane Pompougnac are some amazing compilations to provide background for your everyday tasks. There are quite a few installments, so lots of music to listen to! :) By the way, that's a great idea for a thread, I'll happily follow to see other users' suggestions.

Like most audiophiles I prefer acoustic instruments. Electronic music does present some challenges for audio equipment. For example, the tone of an electric piano. The one-man Band keyboards. The fuzz and ringing of an electric guitar or the deep bass of synthesizer.

I agree one hundred percent. Electronic music can challenge some audio systems, however, I still love some Boiler Room and Cercle DJ sets.

If we're talking something "less electronic" - Recently I've been cooking dinner for the family with "Communique" by Dire Straits keeping me company, and I must say - what a pairing.

And a beautifully recorded dreamy ambient contemporary classical release (I have it in 32 bit DXD) Reverie - QOPE. He also has an album called Nocturnal.
