Just saw the new Bond movie. It's a bit long but I enjoyed it. IMO, he chose the wrong woman.

Was the movie coherent? I just watched the trailer, and the drivers seem to be kind of all over the place?

Ron, Watching a movie trailer to understand if a movie is coherent is kind of like watching a system video to understand how a system sounds.

Women in his life don't tend to have the most fortuitous outcomes. Maybe...

Watching a movie trailer to understand if a movie is coherent is kind of like watching a system video to understand how a system sounds.

You get all the good parts in a condensed easily digestible manner without having to sit through a few hours of mostly shortcomings? :p

Yes, that's why I asked you.

But Ron, we thought you only watched 15 movies and already had them on DVD, laser disc, video tape, and reel. Except torrent download

Btw, I actually never watch trailers. I don't like knowing anything about a movie before I watch it.

I run to the cinema on the First day of launch here in Italy. Almost same sensations as you. A bit too long and I have same perplexity about the partner and also about the "bad" character (Rami Malek).
The 20 minutes end is a clear revisitation of dr.No factories... with a final that seems more suited with a soap opera than a 007 movie...
Of great suggestion the scenes played in Matera. I love also the sound theme by Louis Armstrong the same than the "on her Majesty's secret service".
My personal rating 6 And a half on a scale of 10.

This is literally the only movie out there I care to see, please tell me it is not ruined with political overtones.
So many franchises I will never watch again.
Please just entertain me, Calgon take me away!!!

There is some unwelcome wokeness in the film but I don’t want to give anything away.

What does one expect from a James Bond movie? Action...there was plenty. Exotic locations....check. Lovely women...of course. A maniacal villian....for sure. Made up technology that seems impossible....in spades.

It was a fun watch, good to get back in a movie theater. Very pleasant diversion.

Tough crowd here. :)

From what I heard, I think my Bond journey will end with Spectre. I like that ending better from what I am hearing.

Ugh... I'm not sure if I can sit in theaters for 3 hours if it's going to be like that.

Makes sense though, Daniel Craig hates James Bond. He's a feckless man IRL.
