These retail in the Euro 30s, a one man designer-manufacturer based in Holland. The B in BD stands for Bert.
His horns are like planar speakers, open baffle, the bass comes out at the rear through the baffle. They generate a large soundstage, like a large planar with horn midrange. They are good off axis, and his speakers are very flexible - he makes them active, yet gives you options to connect your amps to. I found a bit clinical and lacking bass thump, but that was probably because he uses a very basic SS 30w amp. Probably using SETs and working with him one can get more, but for a one man dependent operation, a bit too expensive. The open baffle horn idea is great though. He uses BMS compression drivers. They are high waf, and blend nicely into the furniture. The height is between 6'2 and 10 feet.
