Had another best-ever evening with my music system last nite.. I've been bouncing around monoamps for my Eminent Technology LFT-8Cs and finally discovered, found, ordered, received, and fell in love with a pair of Parasound JC 1+ monoamps, all in about two weeks.. The contents of my system is indicated in my signature; the newest part of that is the pair of Parasound JC 1+ monoamps received Friday and Saturday.
Sunday nite, I heard the most-beautifully reproduced symphony orchestra I've EVER heard. The sound was more spacious, the instruments sounded better than ever, and the rez of everything was a bit higher. WOWEE!
SACD was of Elgar's Symphony #1 played by the BBC SO of Wales, conducted by Richard Hickox. YIPPEE!
