DeepSea is 44mm and thicker, more substantial.
The Sub is 40mm and thinner.

Now that's more like it...a simple watch; elegant, nice blue night satin background.

* I'm going to mention this though; the right "crankshaft" ... it always hurt my skin as some activities, movements, ... position it against my wrist with some deep pressure. Even driving a sportscar that requires dexterity in handling the steering wheel.

That's only my personal opinion. But it's s nice watch, better looking than the "cockpit" types.
Gregg, just curious; do you dive two miles plus deep occasionally? :)

I guess the Deep Sea Rolex is safe to take into the shower.

...In the bathtub, in the sauna, in the whirlpool, @ the public swimming pool, in private swimming pools, @ the lake, snorkeling in the ocean, walking down under the rain.

You guys feel safe walking on busy city streets wearing yr expensive watches? Esp Rolexes, which must be a prime target for mugging. I certainly wouldn't.

The watch discussion is one thing, but the bigger point is this: both my grandchildren 2 1/2 and almost 6, couldn’t tell you the time of day on an analog watch if their lives depended on it. When they stay at our house, they know they can’t come into our bedroom in the morning “unless the first number on the clock in their room is a 7 or an 8.” Sheesh......

Why, you don't like impressing muggers?

one of the reasons that that Gold watches have lost some popularity. It used to be a Rolex "president" day date was what every wealthy person would wear. Many of them with diamond bezels. This style is much less popular today and the rise of the SS sports watch has gone crazy.

Happy to take Rolex manufacturing with sub 1 sec accuracy vs $18k power cords :p

Precisely my point.:p That's the reason I chose the power cords over the Rolex and marty gave up his Rolex for a Fender bass guitar

On Hollywood boulevard yes, in Bogota's streets no.
In France, in rich hôtels? It depends ...
