DS Audio ES-001 Eccentricity Detection Stabilizer

Has anyone compared the ES001 to the ES002 Ref or Core? I doubt it's worth upgrading but curious if anyone has made the direct comparison...

I haven't. But my ES-002 Core costs half the price of the original ES-001 and the ES-002 Ref.
A more affordable solution for those not using it as a clamp.

Sorry, can you please elaborate:
These days I tend to play the DS on, let it read and immediately correct and THEN let it spin to confirm. Saves a lot of time
Sloppy language, apologies. Allow me to clarify: When the DS first arrived I would place it on the platter, and let it spin multiple revolutions while looking at the display before stopping for correction. Which, of course, takes time... With practice, I noticed that you can simply put the DS on the spindle and you can read the error immediately with no more than a single revolution needed, and often even less - you get "an eye for it", so to speak; experience. Now I just put it on the spindle, take a very quick look at the error and correct, and then after correction let it spin the full revolution to confirm correction. Saves a lot of time.
