* Did you watch a film last night (on Blu or DVD), and what was it? *

I guess that I was in the mood for a multitude of moving colors, music, and all that flamboyant jazz.
.... Last night I revisited this :::

... Too bad that it wasn't in 3D. It could have been awesome indeed, for this genre.

Late last night ::: 3D version :::

You know what! I don't care about the book(s), about the takes, about the other versions, about the reviews;
last night I was simply entertained enough to make me forget for a moment about sad things going on in our world right now, and enjoyed the ride.

This vision (interpretation, composition, montage) from Baz is purely colorful, grandiose, fun, sad, and I just jumped right into it, into his own multi-dimensional (3D too) world, and with everything in it.
- This Blu, technically, is a tour-de-force, a masterpiece! ...The scenes (visuals) are pure entertainment and they grab your attention every second of it!
The soundtrack is a great accompagnement to the sumptuous visuals (decors and all).

Check it out, if you haven't already, and see what it does for you. ...For me, it did just fine, and I will revisit it again; and that, is a fact.

* By the way, I enjoyed Joel Edgerton's performance best!

Probably the best movie ever made on its budget. '' The Usual Suspects ''. I never get tired of this one.

Shacklelton A&E made mini on DVD
Liked it a lot, talk about perseverance.

Gettysburg Ted Turner produced
Certainly seemed quite accurate with what I have read over the years. Very impressive film IMHO.

Actually TT supplied the money but didn't directly produce Gettyburg though he did get more directly involved with the prequel made later.
