According to the CJ website, the ART monos are wired at the factory by default for 4 ohms (they are also available connected for 8 or 16 ohm loads). My question is - Any typical speaker I am likely to use is 4 ohms, would there be any benefit to having them wire for 8 or 16 ohms instead? I thought I once read that they perform better wired for 8 ohms or 16 ohms regardless if the speakers are 4 or 8 ohms. Am I wrong and misread that somewhere or would it be in fact better to have them wired for 8 or 16 ohms. Any help will be appreciated.

No and better under than over eg 4 ohms for 6 ohm speaker. You're also throwing away power.

 Absolutely! and a GAT, again :)

Cool!!!

With your Tad's and Revel speakers the 4ohm setting will definately be best. If you were using them with your Klipsch, different story.

When do you get them? And are you selling off anything, or adding to your hifi store?

cheers

Thanks !

Dartzeel definitely stays, forever. We'll see about anything else. The jury is still out.
