I just got a Technics SL-Q2 TT for free and it came with a Pickering V15/950EE cartridge. Without a microscope it's hard to determine what kind of shape the stylus is in but I'm certain it's significantly worn, so my question is, should I replace just the stylus or purchase a lightly used Audio-Technica Sn-P313 for about the same price that is available to me? This TT will be used by my 19 YO daughter to play Pop LPs. Thanks in advance.
