Burmester CD Player DACs

Does anyone have details on the DACs inside Burmester CD players? Recently heard a 061 being used as a DAC and it sounded fantastic, was wondering what the DAC section is like, how it stacks up against other top DACs, and what the 089 and 069 DAC section might bring vs. the 061?

Thank you, that's very helpful. Since they are using such old obsolete chips, I wonder what is it about their implementation that makes them sound good.

Good question, i wouldn't know as i never heard any of these players. I do however use old obsolete chips in my own converters with great results ! Just because they are obsolete does not mean they are no good...
