I picked up this tv series on DVD from the library. I really appreciate binge watching.
The show is about an FBI profiler working in a Black-op division. An FBI profiler is requested by a master criminal from the FBI's most wanted list to be his handler. It turns out he is obsessed with her. The show is based on bringing down high value criminals and exploring the basis for his obsession.
Exciting and very well done. It is currently running in its sixth season on TV.

One more reason to watch. They use the classic discwasher brush as a piece of evidence. You you youngsters ask your grandparents.

The entire series is available on NETFLIX. It is currently in season 8. Maybe the final season. It is currently available for free on NBC Fridays at 8<00 p.m.
I think t makes for fine binge watching during the Covid crisis. It is currently on hiatus until mid-January. With 22 eposdes per seaon it should keep you occupied.
Fans call ourselves "Blaclisters." It is the story of a n international criminal turned confidentional informant(snitch) and has FBI Handler. There may be some relationship between them.
If you have not caught it is worth the time.

Season 8 finale
I need to vent my frustration. I have not been this disappointed since Dexter ended
SPOILER ALERT
The raison d'e^tre of this series was for Reddington to protect Elizabeth from his enemys and to discover who he really was and why he came into her life. For a long time they flirted with the idea that he was her father.
Cutting to the chase. In the season finale she wassummarily killed in front of Reddington. None of the unusual heroic attempts to save her life. She was left on the street.
She died without ever knowing the truth.
That should have been the series finale.
IMO there has to be some sort of internal strife that made them want to get rid of her. That is the only way to explain the absence of Elizabeth early in season 8. Moreover the creator of the show has departed for undisclosed reasons.
I support poetic license. But this makes no sense.
There will be a season 9. I just think they have painted themself into a corner.

The show is scheduled to return October 22, 2021.
I am not sure where they are going. Raymond Reddimgtons'reason d 'etre was to protect Elizabeth Keen. She is dead as are her killers. She does have a daughterwho is now an orphan.

We shall see if his secret is e ever revealed. It reminds me of Hoise of Lies. Marty and Jeanie got married on the last episode. To say it was. Anticlimactic is an understatement.

firmly believe last season should have been the series finale with the big reveal of Reddingtoms Tru relation to Elizaneth.
NBC failed to request episodes for season ten effectively canceling the show. It's anybody guess how the show will end.

this is the final season of this series as it limps no sign of resolving the ultimate issue. the episode is scheduled for July 13.
if you have not followed this series it is perfect binge material. 10 years would make it a multi-weekend event. it is aperfect mix of major and sub-plots.

Who was Redding and what was vhis relation to Elizabeth Keen.
I don't want o spoil it. So I will just leave it at that.

Of course the $64k question is why did Megan Boone (Elizabeth Keen)and the shows creator, Jon Bokebkamp) leave the show? Certainly it was not "to pursue other projects."
