Anyone using Airtight ATM 211 to recommend?

In recent years I've had two sets that I consider very good, Mark Levinson 32ref and Ml 33, and Mcintosh C2300 with Mc275!
But now I'm intending to buy an Airtight ATM 211, my loudspeaker is Tannoy Westminster Royal!
I would like to know if anyone has any recommendations or opinions about this purchase!

I really loved my ATM-211’s with my Tannoy GRF90’s but felt the Tannoy’s were at their best with more power. The AT ATM-2 to me was a better overall fit. For course your results may very.

If you can possibly afford these (ATM-3211) I would get them. I heard them at Munich and was really impressed. I used to own an Air Tight ATM-2 and I agree that the Tannoy Westminster will need more power.

Tannoy GRF is a great speaker, has 95db of efficiency, Tannoy Westminster has 99db of efficiency, seems to me a good difference, what you think about this, I will feel lack of power and dynamics?

Today I'm playing with Mcintosh MC 275 and I have all the power and the dynamics I need!

Please, does your ATM 211 produce a lot of background noise when there is no music?

Was it difficult to marry the ATM 211 with the preamp?
I really like my preamplifier (Mcintosh C2300) will it be a good marriage?

I would love to buy an ATM 3211, but at the moment I do not have this money available! To buy ATM 211 I'm already selling my mother-in-law!

Technics SP10 MK3 (NOS) with Dynavector 507 MKII
Koetsu Jade, Koetsu Black Gold, Ortofon SPU Collector box, Dynavector DV-XV1s and some more of the 80's!

Hi,

The 211’s were wonderful and dead quite with most types of music. I have 107db Avantgardes and no issues with background hiss. The Preamp I used was a darTZeel .
I know of a pristine pair of 120V ATM 3211 for 15,000 if interested.

Have you considered the Aries Cerat Concero? They are big SETs with huge dynamics and real drive. Best SET I have ever heard. They have various versions.

I do not have local representation, the costs of an individual import would be prohibitive, not to mention that if I ever need maintenance, I will not have any local support!

I recently purchased a pair of Air Tight ATM 211 monoblocks on Audiogon for 6700.00 I had been looking for years. They do not come up often in the used market in the USA. Well worth the wait. And quite a deal.
