AES11 general specifications

Say, who's working with AES11?

What voltages does it use, and what does the digital signalling look like? My limited understanding is that it's "silent" AES3, meaning clock only, no music data. For some reason the specs are not that widely available, without shelling out $30 to the AES.

What are the major real-world applications?
