Hi welcome...I for one think this is one of the better forums. I read your article (thanks) the biggest issue I see is how can one demo this...it's very hard to drop this kind of money (or any money) on just a great review...any guidance here? Does the mfg offer any help for folks want to consider this preamp?

Hi Jrech, i think it depend on where are you located. I'm sure Mr. Koch will help in any way he can. I agree on the price. I'm very reserved when it comes to premium pricing in high-end. For what it's worth I do think K-10 is one of the few worthy of given price. It's also the only product I gave ÜBER AMPS Mono & Stereo award.

designers namedropping ;-)

interesting...what other designers do you like? Tsuda (concert fidelity), Yamada (Zanden), Kondo, Others?

I personnally go for David Berning products and Serge Schmidlin of Audio Consulting. But I liked the interview in that initial link, and actually agree about the SOUL.
You probably can only somuch say it, but it is still the one thing that makes a difference :)

I have heard great things about David Berning's work...i remember Franco Serblin used one with his Guarneris or Strads...cannot remember which. I have also spoken with someone who uses the Quadature Z monos with his Wilson Alexandrias and loves them.
