I enjoyed reading it, and generally could see where he was coming from having now heard the XLFs. Of all the reviews of the various big Wilsons, the one i remember best is Martin Colloms' July 1994 Stereophile review of the original X1/Grand Slamm. I admit, i also own these speakers now so that is very likely why, but that review was exceedingly thorough and detailed...along with his Guarneri Homage review...where both reviews were influential on my speaker ownership (also owned the Guarneris years and years after reading that review).
