After having announced it a few days ago, here there's a CA report on a demo performed by dCS, with the collaboration of Pure Music, regarding the possibility to stream DSD files through USB.

dCS, up to my knowledge, is the second company (after Playback Designs) to allow the conversion of DSD files (both Amarra and Pure Music are supporting software, don't know how the thing works on PC platforms...). Apparently, dCS plans to spread technology to extend the possibility to stream DSD files with no conversion to PCM to other companies.
