Earlier in then year, a friend who is also a reviewer for 6moons came across a trove of older Mark Levinson equipment including most of the products up thru the ML12. I suggested, and he is considering doing a "mini-review" which compares all the preamps amongst (between?) themselves and his current Doshi unit.
The only unit we don't have is the JC-2 which morphed into the ML-1 when the designer John Curl left. Might anyone out there be willing to lend us that unit for the comparison - tentatively scheduled for Aug 5th? Location will be New Haven, CT. Will send it right back after that
