did the forum get any update in the last day or two which might have affected this issue?

I tried a number of times. but could not load pictures in Internet Explorer. I restarted my computer and the still would not load.

finally tried Chrome and they loaded fine.

is this something permanent? or maybe a problem on my end or temporary?

thanks.

I know you are tongue in cheek but......well....er…..the real world lives in I.E.

all my work stuff needs I.E. to work. we have a hundred or so work stations and all exclusively run I.E. and use the latest and greatest industry software.

maybe the social media world is Chrome......but i'm not into that stuff. there is one HT forum I do use Chrome for since you can't reasonably navigate with I.E. and some manufacturers websites are crap on I.E.

i'll try loading a picture from I.E. today on my work computer and see how that goes, to make sure I know what is what. hate to dump my cashe and have to re-enter all my passwords.

Hi Mike was the problem that you somehow couldn't get the window for files to choose to pop up? I had this problem too albeit I use Safari. The solution was to click on the Basic Uploads prompt on the lower right corner of the insert picture window. This fixed it for me.
