Goliath

My wife and I on the recommendation of good friend marty power watched seasons one and two of Goliath starring Billy Bob Thornton over 5 nights

I must say that not only do I enjoy his creepy way of acting (which I believe is just him being himself) but the show will give you just about everything you want in a show of this sort.

Season one deals with him taking on a high profile company in a civil case whereas season 2 he takes on a murder case

All the actors are well cast and play their roles well.

Each season is 8 episodes varying from 40-60 minutes each

With the paucity of summer blockbusters (or should I say absence) it's good to find some good original series on Netflix and Prime

Season one is especially as he takes on the law firm which he and another partner founded and which he left in disgrace because of his drinking. His ex partner is played by William Hurt

I can promise there are some scenes which will have you on the edge of your seat.

Great for summer doldrums

The scene in season two where the fabulously talented Nina Arianda explains to the James Wolk about a possible relationship with her , I found to be just hilarious.Brilliant comedic writing and acting.

After watching Season 1 last year we blew through Season 2 in a few nights when it was released. Neither my wife or I were Billy Bob fans until this series. I agree with the previous comments about Nina Ariana she is a absolute hoot.
