Pioneer CD changer remote issue

I just added another Pioneer CD changer (the PD-F1007) to my setup. I've discovered that the remotes for each unit turns both units on/off at the same time. How can I stop the remote for pioneer pd-f1007 from turning on my pioneer pd-f907 cd changer and vice-versa. It wouldn't be bad if one remote controlled all functions of both units, but it doesn't appear to be happening.
