Revox b 225

Hi. Thanks for the quick add. Looking forward to learning some more about audio and audio gear.

My first post and first question.

I got a Revox B225 CD player from a sale. Checked it out and it powers on, but the buttons don't work, the tray won't come out, and the bulb is out.

Is it worth saving the piece or just let it go as is?

What is the ballpark guess of repair cost of this unit?

The B225 in mint cosmetic condition and working order is now a collector item - but servicing it can be expensive and almost impossible. You can find the service manual at hifiengine https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/revox/b225.shtml

Thanks, cosmetics is a 10, with original box, a b &O remote (not sure) and original manual. the only thing Im sure about is it powers on, and won't even turn off without unplugging.

Great CD player. I have two of them . Definitely a collecters item And sounds quite good as well.

I actually love the sound of this player. It’s warm and musical.it also looks very modern like a future classic.
