The FM122 is the only component I have regretted selling. Unfortunately at the time my systems was lean and bright, so the FM122 was not a great fit.

the adjustable turnover and 10khz attenuation was so cool to use back then as you could almost eq every record to what you liked.

XV. The gain is only 58 dB right? Single or double input?

FM, thoress, Allnic, have the RIAA filter. I would like to know how flexible my options are though

The EMT has filter and click pop reduction too. But it is 5 meter walk, so I set and forget.

I have seen the specs and they seem low gain- but using with Dyna XV-1 and Lyra helikon at the time, gain seemed fine. Only one input

I only owned the Thoress (outstanding performance for the price) for a couple of months, but never really found the adjustable EQ to be relevant to my listening. at that time I had my Miyajima Premium Be Mono cart mounted and was sampling quite a few early Classical mono pressings. adjustable EQ seemed interesting, but not session enhancing.

but that is just me, and FYI.
