bought my c52 from my local dealer, and for the first 7 days is working fine but not until micintoshhd cannot be detected by my windows 10.
computer. It keep showing "Unknown USB device ( Device Descriptor request failed) ". My local dealer is insisting that is due to my windows 10 problem, and i'm not able to confirm it as i dont have other OS instead of windows 10 running at home.

Below is what i have done for troubleshoot:

1. Switch off all the devices, and power it up a few hours later. ( even switching off the main switch )
2. Switching the USB to a different port
3. Factory reset of the pre amp
4. Restart microprocessor of the pre
5. Change to another USB cable
6. Switch to a different powercord
7. Roll back Windows security patches up till April
8. Uninstalling the driver and reinstalling again
9. Change to another windows 10 computer
10. Tweaking the windows 10 for disable fast boot up and ensure the USB power suspend is disabled.
11. Ensure all drivers are up to date

Any idea if i have missed anything? thanks.

Does your dealer have a Macintosh computer (or another music server) he can hook it up to to try? I had a C52 and loved it. I used a modified Sonos and Mac Mini to feed it. Never an issue for me. I am sorry you are having a problem. We all hope you get this resolved quickly.

Do you have a friend who can come over with an OS X (Mac) Laptop?

Although the DAC failure is possible, it is highly unlikely. Try a different computer or better yet - a Mac (as it doesn't need drivers). I bet the problem is computer related.
