I received the USL HSW 602 digital interface today. Hopefully this will give me 8 digital channels a long with the Oppo analog channels. I also have decided to run 4 psycho acoustic channels in the place of a mtm center channel. I use the same configuration in my other system with great clarity and resolution. So I picked up another pair of Fulton FMI 100's to use for the circuit, with a 2 way Mission bookshelf pair. The Pyscho pairs will be powered using a upgraded Accuphase P300 amplifier.
So the multi channel system will have 4 pairs of speakers with the hybrid horns and subs. I think the amplifier power could approach 14K max although the system would only use a fraction of that amount.
I also made the parallel bus bars for the electronic circuit. I intend to use 00 cable for the circuit. I will incorporate everything I learned in my first system. I will use NBS PC's for the Accuphase C200,P300,QSC DCP300,and Oppo 205,the rest of the cabling will be Gepco quad and digital 110 ohm cable.
    Anyway onwards I go.

As side note I now have 4 Fulton FMI 100's and the plan is to use them as RR & LR and PsychR(RF) & PsychL(LF) channels. For a 4 channel setup I needed four identical speakers and now I have them. I will setup my 2 Crown CX844 decks and will be able to play my quad tape collection. I can use my C200 preamp with my Sony quad interface or acquire a Marantz 4400...lots of ways to go.
The Fultons were the first high end speakers I ever heard. They can completely disappear and that's what I want. The 100's use a RTR 10 inch woofer and 4 Peerless MT225 super tweeters. Another interesting thing about the crossover in these is that Fulton used 2 SS581 Ford starter relays in the circuit. I'm not getting any younger..so finish it now so I might be able to enjoy it for as long as I'm around.

I was lucky enough to find 4 Peerless MT24CT tweeters. They are OEM to the Fulton speakers and really hard to find.

I came across this and it explains the effect what I experience with extreme grounding. This system will be about extreme as I can make it given my resources. As this explains music reproduction can be a living experience and that's the point of my quest in this hobby. Much enjoyment.

          The Geijutsu Audio

Kinoshita/Rey Audio is going towards the Geijutsu Audio.
Geijutsu will be in question of an eternal life.
Not staying only in playing sound back,
there is the divide where it warps to the spiritual world.
Important thing there is the deepness of the music breath.
Many famous performances come to alive, start talking eloquently
    and pull those audiences inside.
Rey Audio has ascertained the meanings of audio
by being natural and by the scene to the infinity.
And now it seems reaching the point where we can feel
the art world Rey Audio headed for, up to where we can believe firmly that
audio has an eternal life as its own art.
Charm of combination and an interest pursuing the self way of sound
are talked often nowadays, however it may seem everything to match with your concept.
That disables for us to admit the great features within music.
The charm of music is that our spirit can float even in the world
where we haven't had the real experiences.
After all, the standard isn't yourself, and the nature is
the only subject which you can put yourself into,
and the only way to share the infinity with.
    Rey Audio is breathing deeply.
Many excellent performances respond, with deep sensation.
Here we can be sure about the birth of new art,
    beyond the era of experiments.
The great art appeared in the last 20 th century.
    That is the "Geijutsu Audio"

I am finally done with purchasing the amplifiers and for now it will all be driven with SS class A/AB which I like better than class D or H which now is pretty much what is used for cinema. I have always been a believer in power especially solid state. The system configuration will be: all the bass drivers will be powered at 1200W and the horns at 200W,surrounds at 400W and psychoacoustic at 200W each for a total of 14.2K watts. I am glad cinema amplifiers don't cost as much as high end amps...38 cents a watt is pretty reasonable and will be a good challenge for extreme grounding.
Next will be either some racks I found or have the horn modules made.

These amplifiers have toroidal transformers, power supplies with 270k uf capacitance and a SNR >110 db , with the 00 parallel circuit, I think they will be more than adequate and they are not light in weight @65 pounds each.

Did you look into the Radians? Reports back that they are quite good.

    Hi Jeffrey,
I have read what I could find about the radians and the Tads. Everybody pretty much says the Be's are better. The Tads seem to be in short supply also, delivery once ordered can take 6 months. So I found some at a discount and took the plunge. Most of the comments made here about the SQ performance have been favorable.
I get into these projects and sooner or later the goal really becomes producing the best sound...the hell with the budget, happens every time. I can't wait till I can get to the point of producing some sound from this system.
I will be very keen to see how these Tads sound with the Fostex super tweeters and experimenting with crossover points.

I was referring to the Radian BE diaphragms. The journey seems to think that the TAD BE drivers are better than the Radian BE drivers, but the BE diaphragms seem to be comparable. Anyway, congrats, love the TAD sound!

Jeffrey I talked to the Radian engineer and he told me that he doubted that they would go into production any time soon. I think that Be is very hard to work with and also a environmental hazard. They being in California might cause problems also. IIRC the Truextents were priced at about 700ea and the Tads were more, but not that much more. The Truextents did get good reviews though.

This is a new thread I came across...
    http://www.hostboard.com/forums/f700...erryllium.html

"TAD uses the driver in large studio monitors. They pad them down to like 98 db and use both impedence eq and notch filter. Their studio monitor designs are all two ways. The 4002 is used more in their theatre and PA systems. It sounds great too. With their crossover eq they obtain their design goals for the two studio monitors. The SB crossover and the one I use is very simular to the TAD. I've changed mine a little to my preference though. Used as a mid in a three way or in a two way as a mid/tweeter the 4001 is a fantastic performer and is ultra revealing of the signal it's fed. Changing wires, caps, resistors, cartridge loading, tubes, diodes, ect.. is clearly heard through these puppies. They sound much like an electrostat on steroids."

I spoke to Al at US Speaker this morning and Radian will introduce a Be TAD 4001 diaphragm at a trade show in March. He Could not give a production date and they will be priced at 800.00. Not much has changed since my last inquiry except maybe a price increase.

Btw...I need one more DP-4001 TAD diaphragm nos. If anyone has one and would like to sell..please pm me. I have 3 and need 4 total ,thanks

I found my fourth TAD diaphragm,so I'm set there. Next is the equipment racks,Fostex tweeters, horn cabinets and then have the sub panel electrical installed. After that the screen,Oppo, and JVC projector...unless the Samsung modular QLED is doable.
