Cable advise for tube preamp

I will pull the trigger on PS audio's new preamp once it releases sometime in June and need to add an interconnect. I'm using Transparent reference MM2 throughout and I am scanning audiogon for a used one to show up (I refuse to take a massive depreciation hit and always buy cables used). However, to my dismay, I have seen any showing up so I may have to wait for a while. I would entertain the idea of getting another used cable as an interim solution until a Transparent shows up. I would then resell the other cable with small or zero loss.

However, for this to work I need to get a cable for which a good used market exists (lest I get stuck with it), and which is not to much of a compromise relative to my Transparents. Anyone out there with good understanding of the cable market that can offer any advise of what I should be looking out for? I'd be looking to spend up to a $1,000 used, and would have to be able to resell in the same ballpark.

I wouldn't buy a used cable unless you have already auditioned it. It is such a hassle to have to sell it instead of returning for a refund. If you like Transparent some other brands you may want to check out are Silnote, Mapleshade, and Crystal Cables. I would make sure you get a 30 day audition just in case :)
