I'm a big fan of both EC and JJ Cale, so buying this CD was a no-brainer for me. The songs on his album are all JJ Cale compositions, but rather than each artist recording their own interpretation of a song they stayed as true to the original as recorded by JJ Cale. And it's quite amazing as to how close they came. Some of the songs are uncannily similar throughout. If you're a fan ....I would recommend this highly.
