What's Spinning Tonight?

First out on the Ascona this morning☝:

Ella Fitzgerald - Ella In Hollywood, recorded live at the Crescendo. This is an orginal record from 1961, still sounds like it was pressed yesterday. This old jazz music usually feels best with the Ortofon MC Diamond at my place, and Ella is worth every diamond there is ;).. Behold..!!

Wow - The Ascona keeps spinning, and right now☝:

SAGA - Wildest Dreams, an orginal from 1987, on black vinyl at 33rpm.

These 80’s ”Wildest Dreams” is comming back big-time to me when spinning this album! I have so many crazy memories from this time. This album is very emotional to me and gives me both tears in my eyes and warmth in my heart when listen to it… as I said.. sooo many memories.. ..!!!

Anyway, a great sounding 80’s rock album, and is highly recommended. Enjoy!

On the TEAC V-7000 right now☝:

MCC [ Magna Carta Cartel ] - The Dying Option, from 2022, on an old pure honest orginal cassette tape :D !! This is an awesome spacey kind of album, made for get lost in time and space. I saw them live in Gothenburg last spring in May of 2023. Great performance, great sound and great music. I also have a signed copy on vinyl, which is even better sounding. Old fashion cassette though is soo cool to play once in a while. I love it!! This is a highly recommended album by me. Enjoy !

Going back to the Ascona Neo ☝:

Pat Benatar - Wide Awake In Dreamland, from 1988, on black vinyl at 33rpm. This original super-album is Pat Banatar at her very top of performance. She is singing these hard singing songs with ease!! Great rock / pop album, with both rough and soft tunes. As many of the albums of this era, the bass is not on top, but a push on the front subtowers main pre-amp volyme control, will take care of this with glamour☝:D !! (Remember that ”Reference Point” is in the center of the volyme control) This option gives me Live performance with every album;)!

Sorry to hear about your friend.

Certainly one I didn't remember ever hearing before. That hairshirt cover art was enough to get it put on first today. :D
