One of the finest dining experiences we've had in some time! We weren't treated like second class citizens because we were attending restaurant week; unlike other restaurants, there was little difference between the restaurant week and normal menu (other restaurants basically give you two choices of each course)! Everyone was friendly, the menu was easy to understand and they even offered some other choices for restaurant week for a modest additional charge. I've never had crabcakes prepared as equisitively or presented in this manner; the beef short ribs in canneloni were mouth watering. And make sure to save room for dessert! Again, I really wonder how they can make eating an ordinary dessert like an apple tart a totally new experience!

If you're in New York, make sure to take advantage of restaurant week. Dinner is $35/person plus tax and tip (and any alcohol, etc.). For this price, David Burke Townhouse goes down as the steal of the decade.
