Hi Greg,

They are not as exotic as the speakers above, but have you listened to any of the Nola speakers? They have a fair sized line-up and are an open baffle design with a long heritage.

Rich

I have heard the baby grand, the viper and the little one. See my baby grand reference post and my coverage of the Capitol Audiofest.

Hi Greg,

I saw the post and replied in the thread. I didn't remember that you started the thread. Sorry. I too have heard the Baby Grand, and the Viper Reference II (the newest are the Viper Reference III) as well as to the Grands. But Nola also now has the Metro Grand Reference and the Micro Grand Reference speakers in the Baby Grand line.

I am using a pair of Viper IIA speakers for my side surrounds and the Nola LCR Reference for my Center channel.

Greg, Maybe next time you visit we can see Linkowitz who has been very hospitable to one of the clubs (now defunct) I belong to. Or, we might hear some Orions which a friend of mine built.

I heard the Linkwitz at the RMAF show. Very neutral and physically attractive. I liked them a lot. if it's what yuu're looking for, definitely worth an audition.

How were Greg Richie's Bumblebees at RMAF Greg? Did you get to stop by his room?

They require a certain room geometry, and plenty of room behind them, which is why I cannot consider them in my present house.
