Hi All --
Three pieces for sale:
A new in box Anthem AVM 60 prepro, $2650 Full factory warranty from authorized dealer.
Audio Research REF 5SE preamp (silver), recently retubed $6800. This is my personal unit, I'm the original owner, it's in mint condition
Audio Research REF 75...
1200 GAE (#226 of 1200), having a really good time with it. Rock solid build and operation. Have been out of the TT world for too long to provide a meaningful value comparison but sounds good to me so far w/a Dynavector XX2mkII cart and Klyne phono stage. Vinyl is back in the house.
As good an action movie as has ever been made. Maybe the best pure action film ever. The only one with the premise of 'A world gone insane....' that really delivers on that line.
There's more imagination on display in the first ten minutes then in ten typical big Hollywood movies put together.
Really enjoying this camera, for a (cargo) pocketable camera it is a complete pleasure to shoot with vs the Sony RX100, another large sensor/small body cam. My relatively large hands play a role here -- never really liked shooting with the Sony; fussy, imprecise dials and a cumbersome menu...
If anyone here is going to the NY Audio Show, please stop by and say hello. I'll be in room 1105 demoing The Clue loudspeaker, the best $1K monitor I've heard, along with the debut of it in its new, enhanced 'Deuce' configuration. Hope to see any and all!
Bought recently, happy so far though not surprising in that I've like arc trainers I've used in gyms. Always felt they made me work harder than other ellipticals.
Key differentiaters of the Cybex vs most others is variable stride length, so the motion changes through the course of the...

Would be curious to see the D&M side of the story on this -- they were the prior owners whose portfolio includes Denon and Marantz. Gather they're not looking...
It's been removed from Logitech's site and haven't heard anything about a replacement in the pipeline. This is a loss, I think it's one of the best values in all of audio and I'm not convinced anything betters it SQ-wise as a streaming device. It listed for $299. Looks like Logitech is...
may be the wrong forum, but it was announced with the new tablet -- the Google Nexus Q. A bit of a merge of Sonos and Apple TV with a distinct form factor and some sharing features. Has a built-in amp like one of the Sonos Zoneplayers -- last thing I'd expect from Google.

Looks just right. God I hope they bother to tell a story this time. Think they will and Javier Bardem should make a great villain.
Last quarter at AT&T and Verizon. With all the Android phones, that's big.

$2.65share. Note how they insist this will not hinder research/innovation investment.

Bruce, think you were alluding to this quite awhile ago
Anyway, sounds dead in the water. And a major industry marketing push/education is exactly what's needed
Anybody see this doc? Won the DGA and Writer's Guild award for best doc in 2010. Am about 2/3 thru -- it's very well done.
All about the Wall St. meltdowns, it takes an obvious POV, but the the interconnections (and their consequences) between govt and the financial industry that it...

Looks like if you have an Android Or Blackberry phone, this software is likely embedded.
Can anyone compare these two brands? House sound (if it exists), quality at given price points, absolute quality?
Own ARC and know it well, curious about Aesthetix but haven't heard.
Anyone have a rec. for an online data backup service? My wife just opened her own law firm and is looking for this. Got a quote from Barracuda -- $1200 for the backup onsite server, then $50/mo. for automated cloud backup/storage.

Now we have two big hardware/software companies in this space. Three if you count HP. Main reason given was to acquire M's mobile patents to defend Android. Claim is the Motorola...
What are some songs you think are really funny? I'm thinking less here of outright parodies, rather, 'straight' songs whose words and/or lyrics make me smile and laugh. Here's two:
Lou Reed's 'Turn to Me' on New Sensations
Warren Zevon's 'Gorilla You're a Desperado' on Bad Luck Streak in...
This is a spectacular bluray. PQ is improved over the SD version, and though not of, say, Apocalypse Now quality, the remaster is very good. Clean blacks, color and flesh tones are on point, and tonal gradation very nice.
Audio is very good too. Can you imagine a better application for...
They obviously see a market here:
