Oh. What doesn’t click. I really thought I’d explained things.
Not withstanding the ignorant abuse from some quarters I’m genuinely trying to prove that RRV is a thing. But others don’t seem to wish to learn and I can’t help that
You asked for recordings to compare. I agreed. So please make yer mind up. Engage or get off the pot.
PS Ive been abused ad nauseam by some Luddite clowns on here so pardon me if I respond in kind. Carlos knows… .
I can only go by what I’ve evaluated in my listening room. It’s clear to me it’s ‘a thing’. I do wish others with supposedly open minds would stop snarking.
Peter. Again, the preamp volume does not change. But yes, changes in dynamics are of course ‘a thing’ but the RRV adds to the magic in such scenarios, not subtract. I really don’t get what’s so difficult about this.
My suggestions:
Witches Brew
Classic Records – LSC-2225
Crimson 20th Century Schizoid Man from In the Court of the Crimson King first press Island pink rim
The Beatles When I Saw Here Standing There from Please Please Me lp MONO first or third press
Miles Davis Blue in Green from Kind of...
Trolling. Hahahahaha. It’s you whos trolling coz you can’t stand that others join in on a reasonable discussion. Clearly you don’t know how to set RRV. Pity. ( and pity those who ‘like’ your sad response. )
lol. I’ll bill you for the recording and mastering. That’ll be 5k. Sending my bank details…
Sadly youre doing it wrong and misunderstood the whole concept.
I see that and respectfully you’re missing out. I listen at the correct level ( and boy is it realistic) and my EXTENSIVE evaluations convince me there is just one setting for RRV. Any changes beyond YOUR RRV ie when you alter the volume, can have a palpable effect on the sound and your...
I have on numerous occasions so I’m hoping it’s covered. I have experience in music studio ownership and producing and mixing and cutting multi million selling records. I come on to help but I fear those who respond are in no rush to upgrade their listening situations.
I play music at the...
A controversial subject for some on here and cause of much gnashing of teeth
RRV IS CRUCIAL TO GETTING THE SOUND BALANCE RIGHT. ONCE SET YOU DO NOT CHANGE IT, and no I don’t care how loud or how quiet, volume wise, your lp is pressed. RRV just gives you more head room on lower volume records...
I do/did. It’s called Audiopax Model 88. The earliest mk1 is still the best but the third iteration named after someone I know VERY well is pretty darned close.
