Apologies if this question has previously been posed in this thread. I did search with keywords, but couldn't find much.
I currently use an upstream Uptone EtherREGEN, which in turn is fed optically from a Startech ET91000SFP2 FMC. I use Finisar SFPs in single mode. In addition, the...
Was considering deleting my original question, but thought I'd leave it in in case others ask the same.
I can't find anything concrete regarding Finisar SFPs and these standards. However, APC is discouraged when connecting to SFPs, unless the specs state the SFP can accommodate APC (green)...
Phoenix Glass: APC or UPC?

I gave this cable a trial and liked it very much. Overall, it was slightly warm, but more importantly, very musical. Anyone finding their digital system too harsh, forward or bright would do well to try it out.
In the end however, I went for an FTA Sinope as it's better and far more...
Hello all, I've had the Sinope for a little while, and has roughly 50 hours so far. While I initially really liked its warmth, well-defined bass and musicality, I have received my new speakers (ATC SCM40) and am finding the overall balance now too warm. Some vocals feel slightly muffled and...
