I do not now the specs of the Taiko device, so their requirements must be met, that is all.... i aready have seen Taiko's answer in one of the entries... according to them a UTP cable should work best. Yes, placing a grounded metal grid of some kind will eliminate a lot of noise (also good for all your friends with enoying sounds coming out of their mobile phones whenever they receive a message LOL)... Ferrite is used in medical environments etc. as RF shielding...- Lampie519

Goedemorgen Bill, That would be a major undertaking as the concrete is extreemly stong here.... I tried to mount a CRT PJ on the ceiling (i was succesfull in the end LOL) but i made a lot of holes..... This because my drills all melted by doing so....- Lampie519

A different view... I live in a concrete home so the floors are enforced with steel bars that are picking up noise from the AC power line and act now as an antenna... This i can easily "hear" when placing a preamp on the floor (unshielded). Lifting the amp a little will decrease any hum that is...- Lampie519

I think so too but it needs to be experienced and cannot be discussed over.... My designs follow an idea that i have "invented" as i have not seen it anywhere else implemented. I see an amp as a "unity" and every "restrain" beeing feedback etc. will be heard as compression of some kind but it is...- Lampie519
