    Amati Homage help

Hi, does anyone know if Sonis Faber Amati homage drivers are glued to the cabinet? I see there’s screws on front. I am looking to replace the internal wire & add a grounding post, but the guy that is going to do it said he’ll only do it if the drivers are not glued to the cabinet. Thanks in...

I think it's best to leave subjective opinions on Taiko's costs out of this discussion. Only Taiko will know what his costs are.

Extreme owners would to have pay less for the switch of course. Matt I’ll try that with Apple next time I buy an iPhone, Apple can I buy an iPad now with a discount?

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

I think the question should be why would you not want to sell the USB & Switch? Outside Extreme users. Steve Jobs did not want iTunes to be on windows platform. He said, it will never happen. History tells the rest of the story. Why? Because it made commercial sense., Great discussion btw

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

If was my business, I certainly would not sell the Case, PSU, or software (windows & TAS). But certainly would sell MB/CPU/RAM & Passive cooling. As a package. Buyer to register warranty on parts above. So effectively no after sales required. Is what I’m saying is an Extreme? No, probably 20%...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

I made a point in my first post, Taiko will always be in control with what they sell. Just don’t sell everything & all the R&D/know how. You keep your Brand as No1 as part of the decision making.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

I think they could do that today by buying an Extreme. I don’t think the Taiko USP is the Extreme. It’s Emile & his team. The pursuit for the best SQ. Not everyone will have this desire.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

I agree if Taiko was planning on selling everything, but doesn’t sound like it. Sounds like MB, Passive CPU cooling & RAM. These parts are only a small % of what the extreme is. DIYers would not be buying an Extreme. Regarding SME they sell arms, platters, o rings individually now. Important...

Can you elaborate? What are you basing this on? What would make it not the right move?

This is good "Systems Thinking".....& Strategy planning As per above, scaling up, maintaining your USP requires more resources, people & revenue. Clearly there has been a huge amount of work/cost that has went into R&D, and that obviously needs to continue. (Few steps ahead of your competitors)...

Hi, if you stuck on Bacch DSP you are aware you can use certain pc’s to install Apples IOS. It’s called Hackintosh. So effectively you could build a high end end point with IOS installed. Just an option
